Students completing the Bachelor of Environment and Sustainability or Bachelor of Science degree programs offered by the School of Science and the Environment must complete at least 120 credit hours, including 24 credit hours as follows:

One of:

6 credit hours in English courses;

3 credit hours in English and 3 credit hours in another language;

6 credit hours in Critical Reading and Writing (CRW) courses, including at least 3 credit hours in English courses.

6 credit hours in Mathematics or Statistics courses;

6 credit hours in courses chosen from: Biochemistry, Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Earth Sciences, Environmental Science, Ocean Sciences or Physics;

6 credit hours in courses chosen from: Economics, Environment and Sustainability, Geography or Political Science.
The same course cannot be used to meet more than one of the requirements listed above.
