5.5 Diploma in Business Administration


5.5.1 All Categories of Applicants

  1. Admission

    1. To be considered for admission to the Diploma in Business Administration, applicants must have been admitted to and successfully completed the Certificate in Business Administration.

    2. The primary criterion used in reaching decisions on applications for admission into the Diploma in Business Administration is overall academic achievement.

    3. Meeting the minimum admission requirements does not guarantee acceptance into the Diploma in Business Administration program.

    4. In the case where students have been required to withdraw from one of the Faculty’s other undergraduate programs, the Admissions Committee of the Faculty may consider the circumstances of the required withdrawal in its admission decision.

    5. The final decision on admission or readmission to the Diploma in Business Administration program rests with the Admissions Committee of the Faculty.

  2. Readmission

    1. Students who have been required to withdraw from the Diploma in Business Administration program may be considered for readmission after the lapse of one semester.

    2. Applicants for readmission must have an overall average of 65% over their last 15 credit hours of courses taken. In the event that a student has more than the 15 credit hours of courses needed in the earliest term used, the 15 credit hours of courses with the highest grades in that term will be used.
