A computing course early in the program is required. Computer Science 1510 is highly recommended;

Twenty-one further credit hours in Pure Mathematics and/or Statistics courses numbered 3000 or higher of which at least 12 credit hours must be from courses numbered 4000 or higher excluding Statistics 4581.
