Purpose And Mandate
The International Centre is in general concerned with:

coordinating and promoting the University's global endeavor, including international exchanges and development projects;

promoting internationalization of the University's teaching and research mandate by providing a formal institutional link with the University's faculties and academic units;

developing and managing international projects and investigating funding sources, with particular reference to development assistance;

providing program information and advice to faculty and staff and act as the central contact with the Canadian International Development Agency and other similar bodies; and
-
pursuing new opportunities to develop partnerships with the private sector and other educational institutions to keep the centre self-sufficient in the future.
