Interdisciplinary interaction and research among the divisions of BioMedical Sciences, Community Health and Humanities and Clinical Sciences is promoted.

Programs have been designed to attract students interested in a Graduate Diploma or a M.Sc., Ph.D. or M.D.-Ph.D. degree and the Master of Public Health. Areas of strength include Applied Health Services Research, Cancer and Development, Cardiovascular and Renal Sciences, Clinical Epidemiology, Community Health, Human Genetics, Immunology and Infectious Diseases, and Neurosciences.
