Your acceptance package will contain several documents for you to sign and return to the Admissions Office:

  • An Acceptance Form
  • The campus you will be attending (all applicants except those in the PE pool will attend the St. John’s campus)
  • Core Competencies of Medical Learners
  • Request for Deferral (if applicable)

A $1000 seat deposit is also required to hold your seat, which will be applied to your tuition upon matriculation. If you decline the seat at any time after payment, this deposit is forfeited.

If you are seeking a deferral of admission, you must return your Acceptance Form indicating such along with a letter to the Admissions Committee stating the reason(s) for your request. Deferrals of admission can be requested for one year and are granted at the discretion of the Admissions Committee.

The Admissions Committee may grant up to 4 deferrals per year; the deadline to request a deferral is 6 weeks before the start of class, however, any accepted applicant who anticipates needing a deferral should submit their request as soon as possible after receiving their acceptance letter. 

If your acceptance is conditional, you must satisfy the condition before you are able to register for classes.
