During the Visit

At least one month before the scheduled Interim Accreditation Review, the medical school must submit the following required information:

  • data collection instruments (DCIs)
  • medical school self-study (MSS)
  • the independent student assessment (ISA)

On the morning of the first day of the Interim Accreditation Review the Interim Review Team will meet with the Dean of Medicine and any members of senior leadership that the dean wishes to bring. The dean orients the team to the history and activities of the medical school.

From approximately 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., June 4 and 5, the team will meet with appropriate faculty, students and staff. Each evening the team reviews the information they have collected and composes their report.

At the end of the day on June 5, 2026 the team will present their findings and final report to the dean.
