With the classes winding down for many of our learners, I hope everyone had a good fall semester. It has been a rather busy few months and I want to extend my thanks to our staff and faculty who continue to support our learners in so many ways. With clocks “falling back” last weekend and ending Daylight Savings, I hope you have all adjusted to the change in daylight.
The Campus Food Bank and Student Life are partnering to host a food drive on the St. John’s campus, to assist with increasing demands for the food bank's services.
If you are a graduate from our Doctor of Medicine program, I hope you will join us for this year's MUNMed Reunion of 2022. We will be celebrating and honouring the graduates from the classes of 1977, 1982, 1987, 1992, 1997, 2002, 2007, 2012 and 2017. The reunion weekend will include two days of social activities, educational lectures, and plenty of time to reminisce with old and new friends. The devastation from Hurricane Fiona has impacted many of our communities in Atlantic Canada, including Prince Edward Island, parts of New Brunswick and particularly in Port aux Basques and coastal communities on the southwest coast of Newfoundland and Labrador.
