Rebecca Bobby
Clinical Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine B.Sc., M.D. Memorial, CCFP (EM)Emergency Medicine
Originally from NB, Rebecca came to NL for medical school, completing her MD in 2008, Family medicine residency in 2010 and Special Competency in Emergency Medicine in 2011, all at Memorial. She’s now a Newfoundlander by marriage, Clinical Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at Memorial and Active Staff in Adult EM with NLHealth Eastern Urban Zone.
She’s active in the R3 EM residency program, keen with POCUS, obtaining her CPOCUS Master Instructor status in 2022, and loves to teach. She is currently Chair of the EM Discipline’s POCUS Subcommittee, Postgrad POCUS Director and postgrad POCUS Elective Coordinator plus teaches with CanPOCUS.
Other hobbies include hiking, cooking, volunteering with her daughter’s artistic swimming team and driving her kids around.
