Change in Emergency Medical Travel Insurance Provider

Effective April 1, 2026, Emergency Medical Travel Insurance for Memorial University employees and retirees will transition from Beneva (formerly SSQ) to Medavie Blue Cross. The coverage provided by Medavie Blue Cross will mirror the current travel benefit offered by Beneva, ensuring no loss in benefits for employees and retirees. Blue Cross will mail new benefit cards to employees and retirees in March.
