Arts and Science Residence

Our Residence Life staff provide a high level of support and guidance that makes the Arts & Science Residence the ideal environment for first-year students.  It is also connected to the Arts & Science building which means there is no need to go outside to access your classes.

This residence offers all private rooms with semi-private washrooms and full sized refrigerator shared with one roommate. Each private bedroom comes fully furnished with a single bed and built in storage space, as well as one desk and chair. Students share a washroom, small cabinet, and  full-size refrigerator with one roommate. Other services include a fully equipped, shared kitchen, lounge area, and on-site laundry facilities($).

Residence Complex

The Residence Complex is a separate building on campus, just steps away from the main hub of campus, providing students with a medium level of independence and privacy, while still providing substantial guidance and support.

This residence offers all private rooms with semi-private washrooms and full sized refrigerator shared with one roommate. Each private bedroom comes fully furnished with a single bed and built in storage space, as well as one desk and chair. Students share a washroom, small cabinet, and  full-size refrigerator with one roommate. Other services include a fully equipped, shared kitchen, lounge area, and on-site laundry facilities($).

Chalet Apartments

These apartment-style residences provide a high level of independence best suited for students beyond their first year of studies as well as graduate students. Apartments have four private bedrooms, with a shared kitchen, living room and one and a half washrooms. Other services include: common laundry($) and storage lockers for each building.

Family Chalet Apartments

Family Accommodations in our chalet apartments are available to registered Memorial University students who are the legal guardian of a child 18 years of age or younger. Children must reside full-time in the residential premises. Memorial University-Grenfell Campus will consider alternative family configurations with express permission from the manager, Student Housing or delegate.

We offer a total of eight (8) family chalets comprising three and four bedroom apartments. Three-bedroom apartments offer one master bedroom with double bed and twin sized beds in the other rooms. Four-bedroom apartments offer a twin sized bed in all rooms. All bedrooms have a desk and chair, as well as clothing storage in each room. In addition, all apartments have a full kitchen and 1.5 baths. All units are fully furnished, including window coverings. We do not recommend bringing your own furniture. Network/ internet access and utilities are included in the semester fee. Other services include common laundry ($) and private storage lockers for each unit.
