Other post-secondary transfer students

If you are seeking transfer credit from your current program of study at an accredited post-secondary institution recognized by Memorial University, the transfer credit evaluation cannot begin until you apply, receive an admission decision, and all required documents have been received. In addition to your post-secondary transcripts, send all relevant course descriptions/outlines to transfer.credit@mun.ca.

If you have questions about applying to transfer to an undergraduate program, connect with a student recruitment officer.

College of the North Atlantic students

Many courses/programs completed at the College of the North Atlantic have established transfer credit evaluations. The Newfoundland and Labrador Credit and Program Transfer Guide lists established transfer credits and program precedents available to students in Newfoundland and Labrador.

Laurentian University

For any student admitted to Memorial University for Fall 2021, Winter 2022 or Spring 2022 semesters with approved transfer credits from Laurentian University, up to 30 of those credit hours may be used to satisfy the residence requirements for a first degree as described in General Undergraduate Academic Regulation 6.3.2 #1, except for undergraduate degree programs offered by the Fisheries and Marine Institute. Waivers of program-specific residence requirements will be considered by the appropriate faculty or school committee. Before applying, check admissions deadlines.
