Before the end of the registration period

Electronic submission of a course change form

At this time, make sure to follow the process for submitting electronic Course Change forms using your @mun.ca email account.

Adding courses

During the regular registration period, most courses can be added through Memorial Self-Service

If you wish to change sections of a course (e.g., Math 1000) which is a corequisite for another course (e.g., Physics 1050), add the new section before dropping the old; otherwise you will become deregistered in the course which requires the corequisite, in this case Physics 1050. If you need help dropping courses with corequisite requirements, contact the Registration help line before dropping a course because you may be unable to add the course to your schedule again later.

When you cannot add a course via Memorial Self-Service, you will have to use the Course Change form. Approval is required from the instructor and the department head of the course. Completed forms must be submitted to the Registrar's Office (A 2003).

Dropping courses

Most courses can be dropped through Memorial Self-Service. When you cannot drop a course via Memorial Self Service, you will have to use the Course Change form. Completed forms must be submitted to the Registrar's Office (A 2003). The last day of regular registration in each semester/session is also the last day to get a 100% refund on your tuition for the dropped course.

Students wishing to drop courses should pay close attention to the regulations regarding academic prejudice and the drop deadlines in the University Diary.
