Research interests/expertise

I have conducted studies in the areas of breast cancer tattoos, memorial tattoos, teaching abroad, transracial adoption, women’s problem gambling, and graduate women’s experiences. I am also interested in social justice as well as identity issues, as well as positionality in qualitative research.
