Michelle Park – Lab Instructor

Born and raised in Newfoundland, Michelle works at Grenfell Campus in the Language Lab. She worked as a French Immersion ̸ Sciences Humaines ̸ Core French teacher for thirty years.

Nathalie Pender - Professor

Born in Paris, France, Nathalie studied Education at Laval University in Québec, and has been teaching French at Grenfell for almost half her life! Nathalie is also a certified DELF examiner and corrector. Nathalie research interest is in the evolution of the French language. Nathalie received the Grenfell Teaching Award in 2024.

Matthew Janes

Dr. Janes completed his PhD on French author Annie Ernaux and has taught a wide variety of courses.  He is the recipient of the 2009 Grenfell Campus Teaching Award and has served in a number of academic and non-academic leadership roles.  Dr. Janes is the editor of the Journal d'Arbitrage et de Médiation/Canadian Mediation and Arbitration Journal.
