Courses completed as part of the certificate or diploma will count towards completion of an undergraduate business degree. Due to the structured nature of the B.Comm. (Co-op.) program, certificate and diploma students should consult with an academic advisor to discuss options for completing this degree.

Is work experience required to be admitted to the certificate and/or diploma program?

Work experience isn’t required for admission to the certificate or diploma in business administration. However, along with the online application, a personal statement of interest is required to be considered for admission to the certificate program. The personal statement should highlight the applicant’s relevant past experiences, career plans and motivation for pursuing the certificate. The personal statement is only necessary for admission into the certificate as it will already be on file for admission applications into the diploma.
