61st annual Memorial Business Day
Business Day brings together students, faculty, and leaders from across Newfoundland and Labrador’s business community.
This year’s theme, The Power of Connection: How Leaders Build Trust, Inspire Action, and Shape the Future, explores how relationships, credibility and shared experience drive effective leadership.
The program will feature three keynote speakers:
- Wade Dawe (B.Comm.(Co-op.)'92)
- Peg Hunter (B.Comm.(Hons.)(Co-op.)'82)
- Heather Tulk (B.Comm.(Hons.)(Co-op.)'92)
All of the speakers are alumni of Memorial University’s bachelor of commerce program. Their return to Business Day highlights the lasting impact of connections formed at Memorial and the vital role alumni continue to play in shaping organizations and communities.
In addition to keynote addresses and a live Q&A, the event will include an enhanced structured networking experience designed to foster meaningful engagement. This facilitated, rotational format allows students and professionals to connect through focused, small-group conversations, creating deeper and more intentional interactions than traditional open networking.
