Emma Coady is a fifth-year bachelor of commerce (co-operative) student from St. John’s who believes in unceasing opportunities.
Throughout her program, Ms. Coady has availed of many of the opportunities that Memorial has to offer. She was a volunteer member of the Enactus Memorial team, travelling and presenting at a number of competitions including two Enactus World Cups. She was chair of the 54th annual Memorial Business Day, and is president of the Commerce Class of 2019. Ms. Coady completed two semesters abroad; in 2016, she travelled to Bordeaux, France to complete a religious studies field school program, and in the winter of 2018 she studied in Singapore. She completed three work terms during her program; two with Husky Energy and one with Fytics, a technology startup at Genesis.
Outside of her university involvement, Emma volunteers at a local yoga studio and with the Candlelighters Association, supporting children and families affected by childhood cancer. After graduation in April, she is excited to be moving to Kelowna, BC to complete her WSET Level 2 Wine Certification and begin her career with Mark Anthony Wine & Spirits.
