Personal Profile

Dr. Amy Warren started teaching at the Faculty of Business in 2003. She teaches in the areas of human resource management and labour relations and has received several teaching awards including the Dean’s Teaching Award in 2012.

Dr. Warren completed her PhD at Saint Mary’s University in 2009. Her research interests include retirement, the multi-generational workplace, health and safety, and goal setting. She is currently the principal investigator on a SSHRC standard research grant entitled “Bridge employment: A multi-focused analysis.” Dr. Warren has published in Human Resource Management Review, International Journal of Manpower, Human Resource Development Quarterly, and Career Development International. She has also presented her research at national and international conferences including the Academy of Management, ASAC, Work & Stress and IFSAM.
