Elizabeth Hanrahan

Elizabeth Hanrahan is a fifth-year Bachelor of Commerce (Co-operative) student from St. John’s, N.L.

She was elected to the 59th annual Memorial Business Day Committee as one of the communications leads and co-moderated the event. She was a member of the Class of 2024’s graduation committee, Relay for Life recruitment committee, and Bombardier’s Internship Experience Committee during her first work term.

In Winter 2023, she was accepted into the Harlow business cohort, where she served as student lead. Ms. Hanrahan is also a member of Dr. Chansoo Park’s research group. Ms. Hanrahan’s activities are catalyzed by the prospect of achieving a sense of community within student life at Memorial.

Outside of university, she recently began serving on the International Relations Committee for the Youth Atlantic Treaty Association of Canada for NATO. She firmly believes that getting involved in her community enriches life experiences and is a valuable use of time.

Ms. Hanrahan is very grateful and honoured to be this year’s recipient of the Dr. Robert Crosbie Undergraduate Student Citizenship Award. She would like to thank Dr. Park for the instrumental role he has played in her student involvement.
