Marium Oishee is a final-year bachelor of business administration (BBA) student who believes that “as long as there is life, there is hope.”

Always one to seek out new adventures and opportunities, Ms. Oishee has worked as the editor-in-chief (and currently as business manager) of Memorial’s student-body newspaper, The Muse, as well as completed an internship with the Husky Centre of Excellence in Sales and Supply Chain Management.

As an international student hailing from Bangladesh, she has struggled with the hardships of an inter-continental relocation and channeled her passion to create opportunities for the international community while volunteering as the 2019-2020 president of the International Student Resource Centre. Furthermore, she served as the vice-president (and later, president) of the Business Administration Undergraduate Student Society (BAUSS) and has spent hundreds of hours volunteering both on and off campus.

Currently, Ms. Oishee is pursuing her dream of working in academia as the administrative secretary of the Office of the Chief Risk Officer at Memorial University. In her spare time, she loves to read, volunteer and trying to replicate the taste of home through cooking.
