Engineering and Applied Science celebrated Reunion 2012
All graduates and current faculty, staff and students of Memorial's Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science were encouraged to take part in Reunion 2012.
On Friday, Aug. 10, Engineering and Applied Science hosted Re-Day, an evening to reminisce about the classes, labs, exams, work terms and fun times had while earning an engineering degree at Memorial University. Re-Day took place at the Rock House on George St., in St. John's.
On Saturday, Aug. 11, the Back to Da Books 2012 Engineering Open House took place in the S.J. Carew Building from noon to 3 p.m. Tours of the S.J. Carew Building, various classrooms and laboratories were available to all visitors, as well as a barbeque hosted by the Memorial University chapter of Engineers Without Borders.
Displays from engineering associates and companies also took place during the open house, making it an event for the entire engineering community.
