Current Memorial University students can apply to enter into first year of engineering, referred to as Engineering One (EO) in the fall, winter or spring semesters.
To be eligible for consideration for admission to the bachelor of engineering program, a student who is attending or has previously attended Memorial University should have a cumulative average of at least 70 per cent, and obtained a grade of at least 70 per cent in two or more of the following courses: MATH 1000, MATH 1001, MATH 2050, PHYS 1050, PHYS 1051, CHEM 1050, ENGL 1090 or the former ENGL 1080.
A student can apply for the following semester in the semester that they are completing the above requirements. The student’s application will be placed on hold until the marks for that semester are released.
The application is due by March 1 for Fall, October 1 for Winter and February 1 for Spring. The application must be received by the Registrar's Office on or before that date. Late applications will NOT normally be accepted. The application can be completed in the students Memorial Self-Service account.
