On Saturday, March 10, the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science will host the its annual open house.
Please note this event was originally scheduled for 10 a.m.-2p.m., but due to impending weather it will now run from 11 a.m.-3 p.m.
The open house is an opportunity for the public, potential students and their parents, kids and the media to learn what Memorial engineering has to offer.
Visitors will be greeted with information booths represented by various groups and departments associated with Memorial engineering.
You'll see interesting demonstrations and amazing things happening at Memorial engineering.
Some highlights of the tours may include: Paradigm Hyperloop Pod Tour; Baja vehicle; Ride on a 58-metre wave tank; Chat with a robot - or maybe two; and So much more! Our annual open houses offer opportunities to meet current engineering students as well as faculty and staff.
You will learn about the programs we offer, including our incredible co-op program which allows you to network with the industry before you graduate. If you've ever wondered about the field of engineering, about what engineers do, or even wondered if you might be interested in engineering as a career, we can offer some insight.
We hope to see you this Saturday, March 10. The fun starts at 10 a.m. and runs to 2 p.m. in the S.J. Carew (Engineering) Building’s main lobby, 240 Prince Phillip Drive, Memorial University’s St. John’s campus.
