The Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science will not be offering in-person summer camps in 2020.
We are adhering to provincial health and safety regulations and Newfoundland and Labrador’s COVID-19 Alert Level System. Gatherings are not permitted on campus until further notice. Our camps would be considered non-essential gatherings and will not proceed this summer.
Memorial Engineering Outreach is planning some remote/virtual programming this summer in order to maintain connections with Newfoundland and Labrador youth and help them experience the wonder and excitement of science, technology, engineering and math (STEM). If you would like to be kept up to date with these developments, please sign up for our mailing list.
We are thrilled to announce our summer program, just for teens! Specially designed for students in grades 7-9 (at time of registration), Teen Circuit will offer amazing opportunities for students to explore electronics, robotics, computer aided drawing, 3D printing and so much more. Students will even receive an electronics kit to take home at the end of the week so that they can continue to develop engineering based skills and complete exciting new projects on their own!
The program will run Monday through Friday. Drop-off times will start at 8:30 am and pick-up must be before 5:00pm.
Anticipated Dates: TBD
