Cabot Martin Award for Research in Regional Policy and Development

The Cabot Martin Award for Research in Regional Policy and Development was established through generous donations from friends and family of Martin to honour the major impact he made in his home province. The award seeks to continue his life’s work by supporting practical, applied research that helps build a bright future for NL, and is intended to span a wide compass, directed toward the governance and policy issues central to Martin’s thinking, writings, and public commentary. It will be awarded annually to a student, faculty, or staff member of Memorial for applied research projects of modest scale. It may also be used to seed larger projects requiring supplementary funding from other sources.
