Engineering Graduate Students' Society (EGSS)Engineering Graduate Students' Society (EGSS) is a student organization, founded in 2002, with an aim to support the graduate students in Memorial's Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science in an academic and social capacity. It works closely with the university, faculty authorities and other student bodies in the best interest of engineering graduate students. EGSS also arranges various activities such as weekly coffee clubs, get-togethers and trips as a means of enhancing social interactions among students.

Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE)Started in March 2002, the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE), MUN Student Chapter was established to be a valuable resource for students and the benefits of joining are numerous. One of the most obvious benefits is the opportunity to network with industry professionals. For interested students, this can be a great chance to meet people and talk about the kinds of positions available and perhaps even secure future work-terms positions and jobs.
