Abstract
Wireless Body Area Network (WBAN) is a new technology based on the advanced healthcare system and Wireless Sensor Network (WSN). This domain has been designed for monitoring patients using their physical signals by providing low-cost, wearable, unobtrusive solutions for continuous monitoring of cardiovascular health and physical activity status. Recent studies have addressed this issue by means of real-time comprehensive health monitoring systems like the Personal Health Monitoring system (PHM). Because a patient’s health status, medical records and activities are ignored factors in this method, WBAN has not fulfilled its potential. The proposed method is a new framework for patients’ health monitoring systems based on an intelligent WBAN named Self-Coach. It is an intelligence monitoring system due to its detection/prediction method, which is to provide real-time health status monitoring using the Non-Dominated Sorting Genetic Algorithm. The results of Self-Coach shows that the patient’s tolerance threshold will be changed based on her physical activities. The efficiency of predicted points has been verified with Support Vector Machine (SVM), which shows it is a good candidate for supporting a broad array of high-impact of applications in the domain of the healthcare system, for training, rehabilitation, surgical recovery and as a home-based monitoring healthcare system.
