Dean's Award for Academic Excellence
The Dean’s Award for Academic Excellence is the highest honour for undergraduate academic excellence in the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. It is bestowed upon students graduating with a BA or BA Honours degree who have achieved Dean’s list status each year of their program.
Students who finish their degree in less than four years, but who have achieved Dean’s list status for all years of their program, can apply for consideration to receive the Dean’s Award for Academic Excellence by emailing renee@mun.ca (include your student number) no later than July 15, 2026. Requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
