Dr. Terri Genge

Dr. Terri Genge received her bachelor of science (biochemistry) from Memorial University in 2001, her bachelor of science (pharmacy) from Memorial University in 2004 and her doctor of pharmacy (PharmD) from Idaho State University in 2013.

Dr. Genge joined the School of Pharmacy as a faculty member in 2006 and has been an Assistant Professor since March 2014. Prior to this, she worked as a community pharmacist and was involved in providing clinical pharmacy services to a long-term care facility.

During her appointment at the School of Pharmacy, she continued to work in the community pharmacy setting along with some experience in a rural hospital setting.

Dr. Genge is currently registered with the Newfoundland and Labrador Pharmacy Board (NLPB) to prescribe and administer drugs via injection, according to the guidelines found in the Standards of Pharmacy Practice.

Throughout her career, she has enjoyed practicing patient-centered care and collaborating with other health professionals to improve patient’s health and quality of life. She has a special interest in access to care in rural areas, and optimizing the role of the pharmacist in health care.
