Ways to Give

There are a number of ways to support the School of Pharmacy:

Tribute Giving and Endowments

We often search for special ways to remember cherished people who have left us too soon. Gifts made in memoriam honour the lives, work and passion of your loved ones and ensure that current pharmacy students can receive a quality education.

Some choose to endow a scholarship or bursary in honour of their friend or family member and, in that way, ensure memories of their loved ones will be preserved.

Planned Giving

Planned giving puts you in control by helping you decide the future of your estate and create a legacy related to your career and passions. Whether it's cash, securities, life insurance, real estate or gifts in kind, a well-planned gift ensures your legacy makes a statement about the things that are important to you.

Scholarships & Awards

We are very grateful to the alumni and friends of the school who have supported our students. Without their generous support, our students would face significantly more challenges in attaining their pharmacy education. Student awards make a student's current studies more affordable and allow for a brighter future.

There are four types of student awards and each is based on different criteria:

Scholarships recognize the achievements of a student in an academic field at the undergraduate or graduate level, and are presented to students who have attained excellence in a specifc pharmacy field, research discipline, or other achievements

Bursaries ensure that students in financial need can gain access to higher education and training. The value of a bursary can have a significant impact on the lives of students who are struggling financially to pay tuition and other living expenses

Awards celebrate student accomplishments within the School of Pharmacy, the university or in the community, and recognize student community service, leadership, or other special criteria

Fellowships allow for the funding of graduate degree programs and ensure that students can continue to pursue their cutting-edge research The ability to offer fellowships helps to attract top students to the field of pharmacy studies.
