Admissions Timeline

Mid October - School of Pharmacy Application for Admission forms are made available for the next admissions cycle.

*NEW this Year as a pilot* - October – February – On select dates, applicants are required to complete an on-line assessment (CASPer). Successful completion of CASPer is mandatory to maintain admission eligibility.  The last date on which the CASPer assessment can be taken is Feb. 18, 2020. To learn more about CASPer, go to

February 1 - Deadline to apply for admission in Septmeber of that same year.

February 15 - Deadline to receive official transcripts from every university and/or college attended (other than Memorial University), including trancripts from AP and IB programs. If registered during the 2020 winter semester, the transcript must include those winter semester courses.

February - April: Applications are processed.

Mid-May: Selected candidates are invited by email for an on-site face-to-face interview. Remaining candidates will be notified of the decision made on their application (i.e., waitlisted or unsuccessful)

Interviews will NOT be held on May 22 and 23, 2020. Normally, face to face interviews are held over a two-day period (Friday/Saturday) at the Health Sciences Centre in St. John's but because of COVID-19 pandemic, they will not be held. Alternative planning in lieu of the face to face interview are underway.

Early/mid -June: Offers of admission are emailed to selected candidates. Unsuccessful candidates and candidates waitlisted for an offer of admission are notified.

Mid-July: Registration for fall semester begins.
