Each September the School admits 40 new students to begin the Entry to Practice Pharm.D program. Priority is given to applicants who are residents of Newfoundland and Labrador . Normally, 35 seats are offered to residents of Newfoundland (NL). Of the 35 seats, one seat is reserved for an eligible applicant of Aboriginal descent from NL. The remaining 5 seats are open to non-residents of Newfoundland & Labrador, including international applicants.
The application deadline for admission to the program is February 1.
NEW this Year – On select dates, applicants are also required to complete an on-line assessment (CASPer). Successful completion of CASPer is mandatory to maintain admission eligibility. To learn more about CASPer, go to https://takecasper.com
The Admissions Committee selects applicants who exhibit strong academic capabilities, demonstrate the qualities and skills necessary to be an effective pharmacist, and display a commitment to a career in pharmacy.
Applications for admission to the Doctor of Pharmacy degree program should be submitted online via the University's Application for Admission/ Readmission which can be accessed in the following ways:

In addition to Memorial University's general application fee, the School of Pharmacy Pharm.D. application fee is $125 for Canadian applicants and $175 for international applicants. Application fees are charged upon submission of the online application.
