Pharmacy 302W (Structured Practice Experience II) takes place after the second year of the undergraduate pharmacy program. The experience consists of a 4-week placement in a hospital pharmacy.

It is intended to introduce the student to the role and function of hospital pharmacists in the healthcare system. Under the supervision of a pharmacist preceptor, the student will participate in drug distribution and patient care activities in a hospital setting, including patient assessment, medication order review, identification of drug-related problems, and the provision of drug information and recommendations.
