Leave Administration Policy Consultation

The consultation on the draft Leave Administration Policy has now closed.

A new Leave Administration Policy is being developed for non-academic university employees. Please be advised that the draft Leave Administration Policy incorporates the following existing university policies:

Deferred Salary Leave Program

Leave Without Pay

Recognizing Previous Service for Determining Annual Vacation Entitlement

Work Flex Program

Human Resources is responsible for all pan-university HR policies. You can find these, along with others, on the policy website under the people resources category. Information pertinent to unionized employees can be found in the respective collective agreements.

Recent policy activity has seen the development of the Determination of Employee or Independent Contractor Status Policy. To aid users an informational video that highlights some of the main points of the policy has been created.

 New Policy Resource

The Department of Human Resources is developing a series of quick reference materials related to human resource policies.  Each will highlight the key elements of one policy and any recent changes that have occurred through policy revisions.
