Position Control

If you want to establish, repurpose, or delete a position to change the existing complement of your staff you are required to send HR a formal request. The formal request must include: 

  • what type of change is requested
  • the proposed position title if adding or repurposing a position
  • length of position or contract
  • faculty/department/school
  • rationale
  • position description
  • proposed organizational chart
  • confirmation of funding, space, and if deleting a position if the position funding should be reallocated to operating budget.
