School of Pharmacy Endowment
The School of Pharmacy Endowment was launched as a way for our many supporters to have a collective impact upon supporting our students, faculty and staff through enhancements to our programs, research, teaching and infrastructure. We are grateful for those individuals and organizations who have already pledged their support to this fund and we invite you to learn more about the impacts this fund will have on the success of the School of Pharmacy.
We are resolute to solve problems that face Newfoundland and Labrador and translate those solutions globally. Whether it’s research into new treatments for diabetes, HIV, hypertension or obesity, we are aimed at having a direct impact on helping people live healthier lives. We are also concerned with inefficiencies in health care policy that inhibit the best possible care or cost the people more than is necessary. Your gift towards research can help us find solutions to areas that you are passionate about.
Your gift can help by allowing us the ability to support faculty members as they undertake ground-breaking research and hire graduate student researchers to assist them. We also have a growing undergraduate summer student research placements program to prepare pharmacists to be learning and living problem solvers. Other areas your gift can influence include lab equipment, research materials and access to raw data for statistical analysis.
Have you ever had a mentor who pushes you to succeed, challenges you to be the best version of who you can be or invigorates you with passion for your profession? Good news! We have over 20 faculty who are waiting to be that mentor to our current and future students.
With your support of the School of Pharmacy Endowment, you can help our faculty provide a wonderful learning experience for our students. Your support may assist us in purchasing the best teaching technology, designing new and exciting courses and create classroom experiences that will leave our students engaged and energized to be a future pharmacist.
