Description

This workshop will explore a key concept in academic and technical writing: sounding objective and impersonal. In the STEM fields, it is important to use phrasings that are free from personal opinions and biases. Instead, sentences should be more factual, and any statements that are more subjective need to be properly supported. It is hoped that this workshop will help writers fine-tune their writing to match the tone used by others in the field.
