Movement for Your Mental Health and Well-being
As part of Mental Health Month in Canada, the Student Wellness and Counselling Centre and Department of Human Resources are hosting a presentation by Tanya Joy.
Tanya Joy is a mental health advocate and founder of the annual Joy Run 50K trail marathon. As an advocate for suicide prevention, Tanya Joy offers a powerful message of lived experience and hope. Her story is about the power of movement and of her resilience. This presentation is free of charge to students, faculty and staff and takes place from 12 – 1 p.m. in The Landing (UC-3015) on Tuesday, May 13.
