Graduate Diploma in Education

The Faculty of Education offers Graduate Diploma programs in five areas of specialization:

Master of Education (MEd)

The Master of Education (MEd) degree programs are designed to prepare candidates to function in a variety of roles in informal and formal K-12 and post-secondary learning environments. There are six areas of specialization:

Master of Arts and Education (Education and Francophone Literatures and Cultures) (MAEd)

The Master of Arts and Education (Education and Francophone Literatures and Cultures) (MAEd) degree program is jointly offered by the Faculty of Education and the Department of Modern Languages, Literatures and Cultures (Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences).

Doctor of Philosophy (PhD)

The Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) program is offered to qualified candidates, normally by full-time study. It consists of courses, a comprehensive exam, and a thesis, and can be completed in four years of full-time study.
