Graduate diploma programs

The Faculty of Education offers three graduate diploma programs that prepare students for work and further study in a wide range of settings.

Graduate Diploma in Education (Educational Leadership Studies) Provides students with an opportunity to explore a broad range of issues in educational leadership, policy and administration. It prepares candidates to assume leadership roles in a variety of settings, including school and district leadership, post-secondary institutions and policy analysis. Online / In-Person
Graduate Diploma in Education (Reading Development and Instruction) The program focuses on reading development and instruction and is intended for students who want to further develop their professional learning and deepen their understanding of reading development that better supports classroom-wide instruction, including the instruction of children who experience reading difficulty. Graduate Diploma in Post-Secondary Education (Health Professional Education) The program was created in collaboration with the Centre for Collaborative Health Professional Education and is designed to enhance health professionals' abilities as educators and leaders in educational program design, development, evaluation, and administration. The diploma is intended for educators and educational leaders of formal and informal post-secondary health professional education programs. Fully Online
Graduate Diploma in Post-Secondary Education (International Education) Canadian education is increasingly accessed by newcomer students who are either international students or immigrant students. The Graduate Diploma in Post-Secondary Education (International Education) is intended to support learning about internationalization and how it is supported and implemented in educational institutions... Graduate Diploma in Post-Secondary Education (Student Affairs and Services) The Graduate Diploma in Post-Secondary Education (Student Services and Affairs) will provide concentrated study in theory and practice pertaining to student development, services, programs, and initiatives that support student success in post-secondary education. Note: Students enrolled in a Graduate Diploma program may request a transfer to the affiliated Master of Education degree programs.
