Event Description

Join the Signal Education Research Network for a free online session, presented by mathematics teaching expert Anna Stokke. This session connects research with practice, focusing on working-memory limits and the instructional hierarchy, which helps explain how math skills develop through predictable stages. We will discuss why fluency with foundational math topics matters for learning more complex math and what evidence-based mathematics instruction looks like in practice. Participants will leave with a clear, research-backed framework for what effective math teaching involves, and why it matters.

This free event is for teachers, administrators, and parents who want expert advice on how to help students build essential math skills!
