Welcome to Memorial University's St. John's campus, which offers a full range of academic programs in a modern, urban setting. Our largest campus is home to teaching and research facilities for Memorial's faculties and schools and serves as the university's administrative hub.

The 2025 CERC/C150 Symposium is taking place in room CSF-1302 in Memorial's Core Science Facility (CSF) on our St. John's campus. You'll find the CSF here on our Campus Map.

Reception location

Receptions, meals and coffee breaks will take place in the Whale Atriuim, which is located just outside of room CSF-1302. The skeleton of a blue whale -- known as Altum -- hangs in atrium of the Core Science Facility as an educational and cultural artifact. It was recovered from the west coast of Newfoundland in 2014 after washing ashore in Bonne Bay. Coincidentally, Memorial University maintains the Bonne Bay Marine Station. Learn more here.

Parking on campus

Parking on Memorial's St. John's campus is limited. Carpools/taxis recommended. If you are driving to campus, Pay and Display Parking is available nearby in the Parking Garage located on Arctic Avenue. Learn more here.

Visitors at Memorial's St. John's campus can access a wireless Internet connection.

Security

Campus Enforcement and Patrol (CEP) provides daily, 24-hour, campus-wide safety and security coverage by vehicle and foot patrols. To report an emergency from any on campus phone: dial 4100 in St. John's.
