Memorial University has teaching and learning and research facilities across Newfoundland and Labrador, and abroad. Learn more here.
Symposium location
The 2025 CERC/C150 Symposium is taking place in room CSF-1302 in Memorial's Core Science Facility (CSF) on our St. John's campus. You'll find the CSF here on our Campus Map.
Reception location
Receptions, meals and coffee breaks will take place in the Whale Atriuim, which is located just outside of room CSF-1302. The skeleton of a blue whale -- known as Altum -- hangs in atrium of the Core Science Facility as an educational and cultural artifact. It was recovered from the west coast of Newfoundland in 2014 after washing ashore in Bonne Bay. Coincidentally, Memorial University maintains the Bonne Bay Marine Station. Learn more here.
