Photo submissions being accepted for Picture Us gallery exhibition
Building on the success of Picture Us: A Research at Memorial Event, which coincided with the university’s centennial celebration, the Office of the Vice-President (Research and Innovation) is hosting a special Picture Us gallery exhibition, which will be unveiled during Research Week. This year, Research Week is scheduled for Nov. 23-27.

Memorial's ninth annual Research Week celebrations will take place Nov. 23-27.
UArctic funding available
UArctic, in partnership with Memorial University and Yukon University and supported by Global Affairs Canada, has opened its 2026 funding calls, with a new five-year stream offering up to $100,000 for collaborative research and education with Indigenous and northern communities. Canadian UArctic members, including researchers at Memorial, are encouraged to apply for funding that advances community priorities and strengthens circumpolar connections.
