Feedback welcome: Researcher needs assessment survey launched

Researchers are invited to provide input on ways Memorial can enhance its supports and services to the university research community.

The Strategic Institutional Research Initiatives (SIRI) office – a unit within the vice-president (research) portfolio -- is partnering with the grant facilitators and research officers network to get a sense of what issues and topics are important to academic researchers.

Early, mid- and senior career researchers are encouraged to complete an online survey, providing input on topics such as developing research programs, applying for funding opportunities and ways to disseminate knowledge.

The survey will provide insight into what challenges researchers are facing, as well as insight on future learning opportunities and guidance for strategic planning.

The survey is available here online.

Questions can be directed to Dr. Jennifer Stevens, facilitator, with SIRI, at v5js@mun.ca.

Jeff Green is manager of communications in the Office of the Vice-President (Research). He can be reached at jeffg@mun.ca.
