An Evening of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy: A Public Workshop

Do you suffer from a chronic medical condition (e.g., asthma, diabetes, chronic pain), a so-called “risk factor” (e.g., obesity, lack of exercise, poor stress management), or a psychological challenge (e.g., addiction, anxiety, depression)?

The MUN Medical School and CBT Canada are pleased to present a public workshop on cognitive behavior therapy (CBT).

CBT is a scientifically-proven way to improve well-being. CBT can help you identify and change the destructive thought patterns that negatively influence your feelings & behaviors. Although we cannot control every situation, we can control how we interpret and handle situations.

Dr. Greg Dubord, MD is one of the leading authorities on CBT. He is the Founding Director of the Advanced CBT Institute at the University of Toronto, and has given over 300 training courses to mental health professionals internationally.
