The Research Innovation Office (RIO) at Memorial University invites you to this virtual session, Understanding IP and commercialization in today’s innovation landscape.

This session will explore how intellectual property (IP) and commercialization pathways support the transition of ideas from research to real-world impact.

 The session will feature:

• Angela Avery, director of innovation and entrepreneurship (Acting), Research Innovation Office, Memorial University; and
• Kushal Shah, Gowling WLG, an internationally trained lawyer and patent agent with experience working with startups, universities and multinational organizations
