Regatta Day holiday date change
As the Royal St. John’s Regatta will not be taking place this year, Memorial has decided to observe the Regatta Day holiday on Monday, Aug. 3 instead of Wednesday, Aug. 5.
This date change provides employees with a long weekend in August and is similar to the plan of the City of St. John’s to observe the holiday on the first Monday in August.
All Memorial employees who qualified for the Regatta Day holiday will now receive this holiday on Aug. 3. This date change only applies to the 2020 calendar year.
