Flu shot clinics
Flu shot clinics will be held this year for Memorial students, faculty, staff, retirees and families on the following dates: Oct. 22, Oct. 26, Oct. 28, Nov. 2, Nov. 4, Nov. 6 and Nov. 18 at the Student Wellness and Counselling Centre (SWCC) in the University Centre, St. John’s campus.
Flu shot clinic appointments can be booked through the SWCC either online here, by calling 864-8500 and choosing option 4, by emailing swccfrontdesk@mun.ca, or current users of the SWCC Health Myself can book their appointment through the app.
Please be advised that flu shot clinics will be different this year as COVID-19 restrictions are followed. When arriving for a flu shot, people should check in at the desk on the first floor of the University Centre where they will be screened for COVID-19 and receive their consent.
Please wear a short-sleeved shirt and remember to bring your provincial health care card in order to receive your shot. A reminder that masks are mandatory.
Additional flu shot clinics will be organized, as needed, throughout the fall.
