REMINDER: Researcher Portal downtime

Please be advised that the Memorial Researcher Portal will be off-line from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday, June 17. This downtime is necessary for system maintenance.

Researchers who intend to submit ethics applications, renewals, amendments etc., to the following ethics boards will be affected and should plan accordingly: 

  • Provincial Health Research Ethics Board (HREB)
  • Interdisciplinary Committee on Ethics in Human Research (ICEHR)
  • The Grenfell Campus Research Ethics Board
  • Memorial University’s Institutional Animal Care Committee (IACC)

An initiative of Memorial University’s Office of the Vice-President (Research) Portfolio, the Memorial Researcher Portal is a web-based work tool for research data management. The first phase of the portal was launched in December 2015. Phase one includes applications to the human research ethics boards as well the Institutional Animal Care Committee (IACC). Phase two, which includes applications for grant and contract funding, will be available later this year. More information about the portal, and its launch, is available online.
